Analysis of Audience Feedback: Teaser Trailer
I am now going to analyse the feedback I obtained from the facebook event I created; the link to event is below.
From reading the comments on this event I can conclude that overall my teaser trailer was a success. I came to this conclusion due to the fact that there is not a lot of negative feedback and all comments are generally positive. They all feel that it reflects the genre of an actin sci fi well due to the fast paced cuts andmusic. They also commented that the music chosen for the trailer complimented this and was successful in adding intensity to the content they were viewing. However there was some constructive criticism. The main point that I need to conisider is the fact that a lot of the audience thoguht that the super-imposed text should of been visible on screen for longer. This is something that I would definately need to consider if I was to edit or re-produce this trailer to improve it as the super-imposed text is crucial to adding detail for the audience to gather a sense of what is happening in the trailer as no dialogue or other diegetic sounds are used to do this.

Audience feedback - Teaser Trailer
I decided to try and be creative with the way that I collected my audience feedback for my trailer. I decided to take advantage of web 2.0 and create an event on facebook that featured my trailer. I invited selected friends to te event that complied with my target audience. The event requested asked them to watch the trailer and leave any feedback the felt relevant. Here is the link to my audience feedback page:

Improvements - Magazine front cover
From analysing my audience feedbackI have also decided to make a slight alteration to my magazine front cover. The main thing that was established from my audience feedback was that the font used for the magazine title was not bold or big enough therefore not obvious enough to the reader.
I searched for a more bold font on www.dafont.com and using the magic wand tool, selected the correct text to then paste onto the magazine front cover.

Analysis of Audience Feedback: Magazine Front Cover
I have collected screen shots of the statistics from the surveys I produced for the audience feedback of my magazine front cover.
Question 1
As all people who took part in my survey in my survey thought that the magazine appeared similar to real magazines it told me that my magazine front cover followed usual conventions that allow the audience to recognise the purpose of the product. It told me that editing and creating of the product was effective as the product appears of professional standard and attracts the audience successfully.
Question2
This question relates to the analysis of question 1. As all the people who participated in the survey voted that the front cover was eye catching further validated the fact that the construction and editing of the magazine front cover was effective as it allowed the product to be appealing and noticable to the audience.
Question 3
As 66% of my participants voted that the target audience was aged between 25 and 35 it told me that my target audience of 15-25 was not clear through my magazine product. I feel this is due to the sophisticated colour scheme used as it does not include bright contrasting colours that would appealing to a young audience.
Question 4
As all the people who took part in my survey voted that the magazine front cover showeda clear link to my promotional poster it told me that I was successful in portraying synergy throughout my promotional package.
Question 5
Question 5 adds depth to the previous question. As all comments justified the reason for this synergy being the same image used throughout all promotion package products. This told me that the way i tried to show synergy through my products was successful with the reason being detected by the audience.
Question 6
The feedback from this question explained to me what aspects of my magazine front cover was successful. Themain way I wanted to add detail to my front cover was the black and white image. This was successful and was detected by the audience as an effective aspect of the mag cover.
Question 7
From the feedback of this question I can gather that the overall magazine front cover was successful as all participants in the survey would not change anything bar one. The one criticism is that the title font is not as obvious to the audience as it should be. I agree with this comment as I have already detected this issue when analysing the product myself, therefore if I was to do this product again I would ensure that I incorporated this criticism when co nstructing my magazine front cover.

Improvements - Poster
From analysing my audience feedback I havemade alterations to my ancillary tasks to allow my products to appear more effective at targeting my chosen audience.
I have taken the release date of the film out of the small print institutional information at the bottom of the poster and re-positioned it under the tag line so that it is more obvious and easier to find for the audience than it was before.
Audience choice of poster alteration
When deciding to make alterations to my promotional poster I could not come to conclusion as to where to place the enlarged release date of the film. I decided to publish both altered copies on a survey where the target audience could decide which poster would potentially be more effective.
From analysing the results of this survey it is clear to me that the audience prefer the second poster. This clearly suggests to me that poster 2 should become my final promotional poster if I am aiming to cater to as much of my target audience as I can.
Analysis of Audience Feedback: Promotional Poster
To analyse my audience feed back for my promotional poster I collected screen shots of the statistics of the questions I asked the audience to complete.
Question 1
As all participants voted that my poster is eye catching it tells me that my final product is successful within its purpose; being to attract attention of the audience to advertise the film. It also tells me that my skills used on photshop and effort to find tutorials to create an advanced effect payed off as it resulted in my poster appearing professional.
Question 2
The majority of the people who took part in this survey felt that all relevant information was included on the poster with 80% voting yes. However 20% voted no telling me that the positioning of the institutional information and detail of the content could be improved to result in a more effective product.
Question 3
As all participants recognised that the poster was reflecting a action sci fi genre this tells me that the conventions and techniques used were effective and successful. I feel the main contributing factor to this was the use of the face shatter effect as it gives the poster a sci fi edge aswell as incorporating the mobile phone.
Question 4
From this survey question I can conclude that the audience percieve the most effective aspect of the poster to be the image. This may be due to the fact that it takes up the majority of the poster but the particular comments are reffering to the face shatter effect used. This tells me that by incorporating this effect and applying it to the main characters image allows my product to be unique therefore effective in drawing attention to the poster. Other aspects such as the bold contrasting title was mentioned as the white vividly contrasts the navy background therefore telling me that I was effective in ensuring all important institutional information was obvious to the audience.
Question 5
The feed back from this survey question gave me criticism for my poster. I feel the most relevant and valuable point made was that the release date should be clearer to the audience. As I incorporated the release date into my small print institutional information it made it hard for the audience to realise that the release date was within this as they wouldn't focus on this particular text due to the size of it; with small text size signifying that the information is not that important to the reader. If I was to alter of re-produce this product I would ensure that the release date was included somewhere else on the poster that is more visable to the audience.
